New Promotion Video Premiers at 2nd Annual Event

The Mental Health Task Force of Polk County’s second annual “A Summer Night” fundraising event was held August 24 at the Sawmill Pizza and Brew Shed in Clear Lake. More than 100 people attended the event, which featured a grand prize raffle for a custom designed quilt from Stephanie Lindholm. The event also included music from the Studebakers, a silent auction, appetizers from The Dalles House, and craft beer from Sawmill. $10,000 was raised during the event, proceeds that benefit the Mental Health Task Force of Polk County’s program and services.

A highlight of the evening was the premier of a new promotional video, featuring information on current MHTF programs such as Healthy Beginnings and YScreen, plus the history of the organization and plans for the future. The video was produced by Alms Creative, and was made possible due to support from the AnnMarie Foundation.

The Task Force would like to thank the many individuals and organizations who contributed to the event, including Hiawatha National Bank, Noah Insurance Group, Northwest Journey and Paperworx.
