New Promotion Video Premiers at 2nd Annual Event   The Mental Health Task Force of Polk County’s second annual “A Summer Night” fundraising event was held August 24 at the Sawmill Pizza and Brew Shed in Clear Lake. More than 100 people attended the event, which featured a grand prize raffle for a custom designed quilt from Stephanie Lindholm. A Grief Support Group is offered by the St Croix Regional Medical Center for people who have experienced grief or loss of a loved one. The group meets on Tuesdays, beginning March 11 through May 16, 2017 Two groups are offered; mornings from 10:30 a.m. to Noon, or evenings from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Meeting are held at the St Croix Regional Medical Center in St Croix Falls. The 2nd Annual Polk County Suicide Awareness Walk takes place Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Pine Park in Balsam Lake. The inaugural event last September was a huge success as an estimated 500 people attended in support of mental health and suicide prevention awareness in Polk County.
