Donations help the Task Force Raise $6500 during GiveBIG Campaign
The Mental Health Task Force of Polk County was the beneficiary of a generous donation of $2000 by the St Croix Regional Medical Center (SCRMC) during the 2016 giveBIG St Croix Valley fundraising event on April 26.
Throughout this single day event, where people are encouraged to support their favorite nonprofit organizations by making online donations through the giveBIGscv.org website, the Task Force raised nearly $6500 in support of our programs and services! The Task Force used the contribution from SCRMC as a matching fund to encourage contributions from individuals donors participating in the event.
Funds raised through giveBIG support our programs and services that help to raise awareness for mental health and the services that our available to our community. Overall, giveBIG raised more than $239,000 in support of charities throughout the St Croix River Valley.
In addition to the support we received from individuals throughout the region, we are also grateful for the $1000 donation we received from the providers at the River Valley Medical Center.
The Mental Health Task Force of Polk County would like to extend a BIG thank you to all of our contributors who made the 2016 giveBIG campaign a success!
