Recovering Together Café is a monthly gathering that offers connection, support, and a sense of belonging for anyone navigating recovery—whether from substance use, mental health challenges, or both.
Hosted by the Mental Health Task Force of Polk County in partnership with Polk County and Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley, the Café provides a welcoming, no-cost space to focus on healing and community.
What to Expect
Held the third Tuesday of each month, each Café centers on the recovery journey—meeting people where they’re at and honoring the many paths that healing can take.
Together, we explore holistic wellbeing through the six domains of vitality:
- Physical
- Mental/Emotional
- Spiritual
- Financial
- Environmental
- Social
Through meaningful conversation, shared experiences, and practical tools, the Café fosters resilience and hope for individuals and families in recovery.
Safe, Supportive Space
Recovering Together Cafés are physically and emotionally safe spaces where people are free to talk, listen, and connect without judgment. Whether you’re early in your recovery or years into the journey, you’ll find others walking similar paths—offering mutual encouragement and understanding.
