Resource Bags for child screening days:
Resource bags, including educational and promotional information from ten local service providers, were provided to 150 families from three school districts in 2022. These districts included Clayton, Frederic and Unity. Community partners included: Polk County Birth to 3, UW-Extension, CESA 11 Head Start, Family Resource Center St. Croix Valley, United Way 211, Polk County Behavioral Health, Polk County Children and Families, Polk County Public Health and Community Referral Agency. Families were provided with the book, “Elmo is Mindful.” These books were purchased with funding provided by Polk County Behavioral Health. Funding for the bags and printing was provided by the Polk County Citizens Review Panel.
