Brent Waak is currently the Polk County Sheriff, serving in his second term. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. His 28-year career in law enforcement has given him a close look into the mental health crisis world. He is passionate about finding efficiency in treating people in need of mental health services.
Brent is an avid outdoors person, enjoying camping with his family and golfing.
